Bloom concentration has decreased

On August 20, the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science and Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory issued their Experimental Lake Erie Harmful Algal Bloom Bulletin. The bulletin states that the Microcystis cyanobacteria bloom has continued across a large part of the western basin along the Michigan and Ohio coasts.
