Henry Huss, 1920-Feb. 20, 2013

Henry A. Huss of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and formerly of Port Clinton, died peacefully at his home on Feb. 20 at the age of 92. Born in Chicago, IL, in 1920, he lived there and in Wyoming, OH, until he retired to Florida. He was married for 53 years to Emily (Rosenheim) Huss, of blessed memory. Henry received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin and honorably served in the United States Army Signal Corps during World War 11.

He is survived by his two children, Allan Huss and Susan Samuels and their respective spouses, Susan Stallard and Roy Samuels; six grandchildren, Michelle Stallard-Hakim, Leah Lauterberg-Huss, Adam Stallard, Samantha Huss, Leslie Samuels and Elana Samuels; and five great grandchildren, Jonathon Hakim, Andrew Hakim, Caitlyn Lauterberg, Kyle Lauterberg and Rhys Lauterberg-Huss. He will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Jog and Woolbright Roads, Boynton Beach, FL, on Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, FL, or to the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
