PC soccer player named 1st team All Ohio

ePort Clinton High School Senior Jonathan Brown has been named first team All Ohio Division II for the highly successful PCHS 2012 soccer team.

Brown was a midfielder and holds many school records for the Redskins. He was also District 1st team and was named the District’s Most Valuable Player. Brown was also a unanimous choice on the All Sandusky Bay Conference squad and the unanimous choice as the SBC’s Player of the Year.
Brown was the leader on the PCHS Soccer Team that went 18-2 on the season and won the Sandusky Bay Conference title, finishing 10th in the State polls for Division II. He broke numerous season and career goal and scoring records. For his career, he tallied 87 goals, 45 of which came this year, the highest individual number of goals scored in Ohio. His 45 goals this year is also a school record.
Brown was also generous to his teammates with 35 career assists. He holds the PCHS record for career points with 209 and points in a season with 105. For Jonathan Brown, soccer was a full time obsession, as he played on several club teams as well. In addition, he is an excellent student.
