Port Clinton Boys Basketball

In their season opener, the Port Clinton boys fell, 54-36, to Tiffin Columbian in non-conference action.

Columbian, out of the Northern Ohio League, won the first quarter, 12-7, and the second, 13-5, to take take a 25-12 lead into the half. The 'Skins were able to cut the deficit to 41-30 after three quarters, but the Tornadoes outscored them 13-6 in the fourth to put the game away.
Columbian got 16 points from Derek Dryfuss and Bryce Lonsway and Josh Flint contributed 11 points apiece. Carter Rumball had six points for Port Clinton and Chris Stokes and Drew Foder had five points apiece.
