PC girls defeat Perkins, now 8-0 on the season

Behind 16 points from Tiffany Colston and 14 from Emily Ashley, the Port Clinton girls’ basketball team defeated Perkins, 47-41, on the road and improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the Sandusky Bay Conference.

The 'Skins were able to jump out to an early lead and were able to hold on for the win.
Head coach Toby Bickel was pleased with his team's performance, but acknowledged that there is plenty of work to be done.
“I think we're still learning,” Bickel said. “I start three sophomores and those three are only eight games into their varsity career. We're a work in progress (but) there's a lot of upside.
“It's nice to be 8-0 when you are still working on things. The kids all get along, they play hard, they like each other. We've got a little bit of a bullseye (on our backs) because of our play.”
