Danbury boys fall to Cardinal Stritch

Stritch was led by point guard Joey Cousino, who led all scorers with 16 points. Austin Adams, one of the area's top players, was held to 14 points, but it was not enough as the Cardinals were able to race out to a 10-5 lead after one quarter before going ahead 21-8 at halftime.

Danbury battled Stritch (5-6, 3-3 TAAC) to a 14-14 tie in the third period but the Cardinal blew the game open in the fourth by outscoring the Lakers, 16-7.

Freshman point guard John Rhodes led Danbury with eight points and Zak Miller chipped in with seven.
