PCHS students compete at South Central Power Lifting Meet

Port Clinton High School Power Lifters traveled to their second meet the weekend of Feb. 23 to compete at the South Central Power Lifting Meet. The students work and condition with Coach Phil Fought, in addition to their regular weightlifting workout, at the True Lay Weight Room.

Results were as follows:  Andrew Cline took 4th in the 210 weight class; Cole Araguz 1st in the 135 weight class; Alec Ochs 1st in 145 weight class; and Jacob Carrisales 1st in 175 weight class.  Jacob broke the deadlift record at the meet in his weight class with 480lbs and was also awarded “Best Lifter” for the middle weight division.
