The two Port Clinton 12U Lakeshore League youth baseball teams had a very successful year. The league competition was Danbury, Woodmore, two teams from Oak Harbor and two teams from Port Clinton.

PC #2 team sponsored by CheeseHaven was league champion with a record of 15-5. In the tournament they placed third. The PC #1 team, sponsored by Geneva-Liberty Steel, placed fourth in the league with a record of 10-10, but were tournament champions, beating an Oak Harbor team twice in one night to win the trophy. 

In the Port Clinton 10U House League, there were four teams from Port Clinton and two teams from Danbury. Coach Ron Aukerman’s team, sponsored by Bill’s Tool & Machine LLC, was co-champion with a Danbury team. Both teams had a 9-1 record. 

The Port Clinton Youth baseball teams were sponsored by Edward Jones Investments, Gerner & Wolfe Funeral Home, Mullen’s Tree Service, Bill’s Tool and Machine LLC, Geneva-Liberty Steel, CheeseHaven, Lagoon Saloon, USG, Kuzma Concrete & Construction, Rich’s Drive Thru and Carry-Out and Team Devin. Concession stands were sponsored by Geneva-Liberty Steel, Kuzma Concrete & Construction, Bill’s Tool and Machine LLC, CheeseHaven, Zink Calls, Mullen’s Tree Service, Gerner & Wolfe Funeral Home and Rich’s Drive-Thru and Carry-Out.
