Lady Redskins tennis team finishes with win against Edison

The Lady Redskins tennis team closed out their regular season with a 4-1 win against Edison on Monday afternoon.  Their season ending record is 14-5 overall and 9-3 in the SBC.

Tiffany Colston & Morgan McGlothlin (PC) def. Taylor Schnellinger & Karyn Schmidt (E) 6-4, 5-7, 6-4
Victoria Grames & Chelsea Imus (E) def. Molly Haberman & Libby Showalter (PC) 3-6, 6-1, 6-3

“This was a very close match tonight.  Kelsey and Alyssa were solid at 1 and 2 singles. Eryn fought hard to come back and win the 3rd set.  The doubles matches were very well contested.  We were happy to see Tiffany and Morgan get it together to win in the 3rd,” said coach Lindsay Smith. 

JV winners were Taylor Steyer, Alexis Cash, Meghan Gallogly, Emma Young and Madi Baxter.

PC varsity is at the Sectional Tournament on Thursday and Saturday (at Clyde) and JV are home next Tuesday at the SBC JV Tournament.
