Black competes in first collegiate bowling tournament

Port Clinton graduate and Davenport University Freshman Sean Black competed in his first collegiate bowling tournament last weekend at the 43rd Midwest Collegiate Tournament. Black had a total of 1641 for 8 games (205 average) and led the team in scoring on the second day of competition with zero open frames.

The Davenport Panthers finished in 2nd place out of 40 boys team at the first Tier 1 tournament of the year, finishing 107 pins out of winning the tournament to reigning national champions Robert-Morris.  The tournament format was 6 team games on Day 1 with 3 Team games on Day 2 followed by 12 baker games.
