Port Clinton wins first two league games

Playing an inexperienced Margaretta club, Port Clinton took advantage and defeated the Polar Bears in convincing fashion, 65-25, in their first conference game of the season.

The Redskins, who led 35-18 at halftime, controlled the contest throughout. Emily Ashley led the way with 17 points and Tiffany Colston and Hope Thorbahn finished with 16 and 13 points, respectively. 

Margaretta got eight points from Lexi Harvey and five from Alex Michel.

Port Clinton 67, St. Mary CC 43

The Redskins outscored St. Mary CC, 16-0, in the first quarter on their way to a 67-43 win over the Panthers. Port Clinton led 29-10 at halftime and 57-16 after three quarters as they dominated throughout.

Hope Thorbahn led all scorers with 16 points, Tiffany Colston had 15 and Emily Ashley finished with 10.

SMCC got 10 points from Dani Parish.
