Rockets fall to Edison in rout

In a game that was closer than the final score would indicate, Oak Harbor fell, 56-26, to the Edison Chargers in Sandusky Bay Conference action last Thursday.

After battling to a 9-9 tie after one quarter and taking a 23-18 lead into the half, Edison pulled away by outscoring the Rockets 13-4 in the third quarter and 20-14 in the final period.

The Chargers’ Chris Laughlin led all scorers with 17 points and center Luke Frankboner chipped in with 16.

Oak Harbor (1-3, 0-2 SBC) got 11 points from Andy Rathbun and six from Josh Sarahman.

The Rockets have three games this week as they travel to Huron on Tuesday and host Clyde and St. Joseph CC during the weekend.
