Port Clinton Redskins bowlers swept the Tiffin Columbian Tornados in a match at Star Lanes at the Harbor on Friday.
The Lady Redskins remained undefeated at 8-0 winning 2441-1590. The Redskin boys won their first in great fashion 2992-2634 over the Tiffin boys.
A very happy Coach Black said, “We are very pleased with the performances of both teams and all the players tonight. The boys finally won with a great series and 3 over 450 series. The girls bowled very well getting over 2400. I think they are both ready for our conference tournament in Rossford.”
Dave Wilburn led the Redskin boys with games of 246-234 (480). Darryl Trent rolled 212-256 (468) and Caleb Conrad 246-206 (452). Jacob Reed rolled a 193 game and Cameron Bice 175.
“The boys’ hard work is finally paying off,” said Coach Black.
The Lady Redskins were led by Samantha Stroupe with games of 185-177 (362), Alysia Zoeller rolled 187-168 (355) and Eryn Binder 177-145 (322). Jozlynn Seamon rolled a 145.
“The girls are picking it up. They had two great practices and worked hard on some adjustments we made to their games. A couple are still works in progress, but are showing very good improvement in helping us become a better team.”
