PC boys fall to Perkins, 69-50

Holding an eight-point lead at halftime, the Perkins Pirates outscored Port Clinton by 10 points in the third quarter to pull away in their 69-50 victory in Sandusky Bay Conference action.

Perkins (13-2, 10-0 SBC), which led 32-24 at halftime, put the game way by outscoring the Redskins, 23-13, in the third quarter. 

Carter Rumball led Port Clinton (5-10, 2-9) with 13 points, Drew Fodor finished with 12 and Stone Scott had six.

The Pirates got a game-high 31 points from Nic Williams and 15 from Kyle Lewis.

St. Mary CC 78, Port Clinton 37

The Panthers were in control throughout as they defeated Port Clinton, 78-37.

St. Mary CC (12-3, 6-3 SBC) took a 22-7 lead after the first quarter and pushed the advantage to 42-16 at halftime.

Carter Rumball led all scorers with 20 points and Stefan Daniels chipped in with eight.

The Panthers got 18 points from Melvin Jackson and three scorers, Brett St. Clair, Denarius Harris and Justin Fraser, finished with 16 points each.
