Danbury High School Senior Graduation Information 2014

Danbury High School graduation will take place Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. There will be 37 graduates in the class of 2014. A student speaker will be chosen in late May. No tickets are necessary for the event and anyone may attend.

Baccalaureate service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 S. Church Road, Marblehead at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28.

Vocational students (EHOVE) have ceremonies at Sandusky State Theater on Friday, May 23 at 9:00 AM and at 11:30 AM

Danbury does not have a valedictorian/salutatorian.

Top Ten Students are: Lindsay Mark, Erin Lavelle, Cassidy Rhodes, Alyssa Almendinger, Tori Wright, Dominic Manuella, Alyssa Biro, Allison Ahrens, Alexis Williams, Caitlynn Thompson

Danbury Township names top dog

Best trick winner Alexis performing her trick at the Danbury Township Dog Show at the Bark Until Dark dog park.

On May 18 sunshine and blue skies welcomed visitors to the first blue ribbon dog show hosted by the Danbury Township Trustees. 115 people attended and 32 dogs were entered in the show. Police Chief Michael Meisler, Lorrain Croy, who is running for Ottawa County Common Pleas Court, and De Anna Lamb, manager of the Canoe Club, were judges at the event.

Two raffle prizes were donated by Bayside Comfort and lunch was donated by Big Boppers Restaurant. Nine blue ribbons were awarded in the following categories to the following participants:
