Retirement, succession plans: "Must Haves" for business owners

If you own a business, you may well follow a “do it now” philosophy — which is, of course, necessary to keep things running smoothly. Still, you also need to think about tomorrow — which means you’ll want to take action on your own retirement and business succession plans.

Fortunately, you’ve got some attractive options in these areas. For example, you could choose a retirement plan that offers at least two key advantages: potential tax-deferred earnings and a wide array of investment options. March madness, sadness and gladness

More infrastructure work is being done in Port Clinton. Waterline replacement work on Maple Street started on Monday. Ed Burdue is the subcontractor for this work. The City may have to issue boil water advisories to the homes and businesses affected. They will be lifted as soon as testing results allow. Questions can be directed to City Hall at 419-734-5522.

Larry picked me up at the hotel and took me to his home. Catherine, an avid LA Laker fan, also served me a steak dinner topped off by a delicious slice of Apple Pie. They couldn’t have been more hospitable. I can tell you, Larry still can’t get over the only blemish on the record of that team, a 6-6 tie with Perrysburg that cost them a perfect season and the outright Northern Lakes League championship.
