By John Starcher, President Pro Tem, Marblehead Council
I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by! It seems like it was January just a month ago! As I look back over the past ten months, the thing that stands out in my memory the most is how we all enjoyed the remarkable ice piles by the Marblehead Lighthouse back in March. I’m sure you saw the pictures, as they were all over social media and the internet in general. The pictures, though, were absolutely nothing compared to seeing it first hand up close and personal. I’ll never forget the feeling of standing on the ice, more than one hundred or so feet from shore, and just reveling in the spectacular view. It made me feel grateful for having the opportunity to live and work in such a beautiful and wonderful village.
