The school hosted its “A Building of Memories” which was kicked off by Jennie Dornbusch, graduate of the school. Ottawa County Commissioner Jim Sass presented a Proclamation to Principal Judy Peters. Children from the school sang “America the Beautiful” (which was also sung at the 1939 dedication) under the direction of Jackie Seibert.
