Desdemona’s highlights local art

A celebration of local art work will highlight the holiday season as Desdemona’s Art Gallery hosts its open house Saturday, Dec. 8. “We’ll be open from 10:30 a.m. to at least 7 p.m.,” said gallery manager Bailey VanKirk, “and after 4 p.m., many of our artists and craftsmen will be here to meet the public. We’ll have complimentary refreshments to toast the season, several give-away contests to enter, and many of our artists are offering special prices for the event.”
