Lady Redskin bowling team remains undefeated against Huron

Port Clinton Redskin bowlers traveled to Riverview Lanes in Huron Wednesday, Dec. 18, and split matches with the Huron Tigers.

The Lady Redskins remain undefeated at 5-0 outlasting the Lady Tigers in a close match 2363-2263. Port Clinton trailed by 10 pins after the first Baker game but rebounded with 196-162-182-183 to earn the win.

Samantha Stroupe led the Lady Redskins with 177-145 for a 322 series. Reilly Wittman rollded 159-144 and Eryn Binder 151-149. Kassidy Mahler added a 163 to the game.

Port Clinton bowling team takes on Rossford

Rossford's Bulldog Bowlers traveled to Star Lanes at the Harbor in Port Clinton Friday and split matches with the Redskins. The Lady Redskins put a consistent match together in rolling over the Lady Bulldogs 2498-2185 on team games of 855-829 and added 814 in Baker, improving to 4-0 on the season, 3-0 in NOBC play.

"Our Girls were much more consistent" said Coach Bob Black. "Our lowest two game score was 313, very impressive. We still need to continue to improve our spare shooting and I believe we can shoot in the 2600's. I am pleased our team average is about 815."

Girls win, boys suffer loss in Port Clinton bowling

Port Clinton traveled to Tri County Bowl in Woodville Thursday and split varsity matches with Gibsonburg. The Lady Redskins rolled over the Gibsonburg girls for a 2505-2190 win. They rolled 859-852 the first 2 games and added 794 in Baker.

“The girls bowled very well tonight, but we still need to improve. Again, we had 3 low games in team and sort of lost our focus in Baker. These girls are working hard and I’m sure we will see them get better,” said Coach Bob Black.
