Lady Redskins win Northern Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament

Port Clinton's Lady Redskins won the Northern Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament Saturday at Rossford Lanes in Rossford. On a blended lane condition challenging the players, the Lady Redskins rolled games of 764-711 and a tournament high 806, and then added 822 in Baker Games to total 3103, outscoring the Eastwood Lady Eagles by over 100 pins. 

Alysia Zoeller led the Lady 'Skins with games of 190-141-174 for a 505 series. She placed 3rd on the All Tournament Team and won a $50 scholarship. Reilly Wittman rolled 137-164-179 for a 480 series and was the 5th member of the All-Tournament Team.

PC Bowlers sweep Tiffin Columbian Tornados Jan. 10

Port Clinton Redskins bowlers swept the Tiffin Columbian Tornados in a match at Star Lanes at the Harbor on Friday.

The Lady Redskins remained undefeated at 8-0 winning 2441-1590. The Redskin boys won their first in great fashion 2992-2634 over the Tiffin boys.

A very happy Coach Black said, “We are very pleased with the performances of both teams and all the players tonight. The boys finally won with a great series and 3 over 450 series. The girls bowled very well getting over 2400. I think they are both ready for our conference tournament in Rossford.”

Black finishes strong in WHAC bowling tournament

This past weekend, 2013 Port Clinton graduate Sean Black had one of his strongest performances of the year in helping the nationally 7th ranked Davenport Panthers to a 2nd place finish in the final WHAC (Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference) regular season bowling tournament. Black had games of 213-236-216-203 to finish 14th individually as the Panthers clinched a share of the WHAC regular season championship. 

This is the first regular season championship for the Men's program in school history. Davenport will host the Conference Tournament Championship Feb. 8th in Grand Rapids, MI. Black, who is a freshman, is carrying a 194 average for the year.
