Presale basketball tournament tickets available at Danbury

Presale tickets are available this week in the Danbury high school office for both boys and girls tournament games this week. The girls take on Carey at Gibsonburg Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6:15 p.m.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets are $6 at the gate and will be sold in the high school office until noon on Thursday.  

The boys take on the winner of Seneca East/St. Mary's game on Friday, Feb. 28, at Norwalk High school at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets are $6 at the gate and will be sold until noon on Friday.


Oak Harbor boys defeat Danbury, 62-32

The Oak Harbor Rockets took control early and defeated Danbury, 62-32, in non-conference action Saturday in Marblehead. Oak Harbor (6-14) outscored the Lakers 17-3 in the first quarter to control and led 35-9 at halftime.

Tyler Sievert led all scorers with 13 points and Cole Weirich and Andre Ramsey finished with nine points apiece. Caleb Gerber had eight points to lead Danbury (4-16). Seth Vargo chipped in with six points and Connor Lenthe finished with five.
