Chapel on the Lake yard sale

Chapel on the Lake will hold a Memorial Day Weekend yard sale Thursday, May 21, through Monday, May 25. Items include furniture, quilts, shoes, clothing, art supplies, collectables and more. There will be hot dogs and drinks available on Friday and Saturday. The yard sale is being held as a benefit for an individual who has an urgent need.

The public is invited back to the pavilion beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 21. The sale will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. There will be no sales before 9 a.m.

Danbury girls’ softball team beat Toledo Christian, 13-3, in a 5-inning first-round tournament game played Monday, May 11. That included a 50-minute delay by Mother Nature's rain, thunder and lightning display during the 2nd inning.
