Magruder Hospital Auxiliary HoneyBaked Ham Sale

The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop will have a HoneyBaked Ham Sale Fundraiser.  All orders with payment must be placed by Monday, December 15, in the gift shop.  A full list of items available can be obtained in the gift shop and includes: the original ham (4-13 pounds), boneless ham, sliced turkey, combo packs, barbeque and smokehouse packages, bacon, coffee cake, salsas and mustards. Forms of payment include, cash, checks made out to the Magruder Hospital Auxiliary and credit cards.  Pick up is from 1-3 p.m. in the gift shop on Monday, December 22.   All items are individually boxed and placed on ice. Please refrigerate as soon as possible. Follow all serving/storing guidelines as listed by the HoneyBaked Ham Company.

Gift Shop hours are Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.   If anyone has questions, or needs more information, call Gift Shop Coordinator Heidi Hecht at 419-734-3131 ext. 3551.


Magruder Hospital Auxiliary makes donation

At the recent Magruder Hospital Auxiliary annual meeting, the Auxiliary presented Magruder Hospital with a check for $30,000, an amount accumulated over several fundraising events. Over the years, Magruder Hospital’s Auxiliary has raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to assist in the purchasing of medical equipment and technology for the hospital.

The luncheon is an annual event where lunch is served to the Auxiliary members by hospital staff.  Auxiliary officers were presented with recognition pins for their years of service on the board.  The event wrapped up with live entertainment from Lake Erie Local, Frankie Bickel, Ron Nisch and Jerry Davenport.

Magruder Hospital Offers Cardio Exercise Class

Magruder Hospital will be offering a Cardio Exercise Class in the Conference Center on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. from September 8 through October 27.  The cost is $4 per class and participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.  The classes are being taught by licensed instructor, Laura Tyson.  The class will consist of a variety of cardio exercises for different levels.
