Holding a 21-14 lead midway thru the second quarter, Port Clinton, which is now 6-6 overall and 5-2 in the Sandusky Bay Conference, saw the Rockets go on an 11-0 run to take a 25-21 lead before responding with an 8-0 run of their own to take a 29-25 advantage into the half. Joe Brenner started the run with a bucket inside with 1 minute, 12 seconds remaining in the second quarter and Tytan Rumball connected on a three-pointer from the left wing with 33 seconds remaining before his brother, Carter, drained a three in the closing seconds to finish off the spurt.
