Despite losing Tiffany Colston and Hope Thorbahn, the Port Clinton Redskins have some firepower returning to their lineup in the form of 5-8 senior post Emily Ashley. Ashley, who gained valuable experience in the past, is now the go-to scorer for the team that must replace Colston and Thorbahn, two 1,000-point scorers.

Redskin girls’ basketball winter camp for grades K-4

The Port Clinton Lady Redskins Basketball Program will be hosting a winter camp for girls in grades K-4 on Saturdays during the months of December and January.  The sessions will take place from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bataan Memorial Elementary School.  Camp sessions will be held on the following dates:  December 6, 13, 20, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

The cost for the winter camp is $10 and each participant will receive a t-shirt.  Learning about the game of basketball and practicing basic skills (as well as having fun!) will be the focus of the camps.
