Prudhomme presents program at Ida Rupp

David S. Prudhomme, Director of Mederi Wellness LLC, will present a program at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at the Ida Rupp Public Library. The program will center on the DVD Touch; the winner of 10 best short film awards.

David brings a unique approach to wellness, born of his life-long quest to understand the mind and body. 

The program will feature an interesting discussion about the mind and how first impressions are not always what they seem.

PCHS DECA Wins Denim for a Difference at State

The Port Clinton High School DECA chapter was recognized for collecting 1,152 pairs of jeans at the DECA State competition this past weekend. Their total was over one-third of the statewide total 3,000 pairs for Denim for a Difference. DECA is grateful to the community of Port Clinton and everyone that donated denim for the campaign. The jeans will be cleaned and repaired then distributed to homeless shelters across Ohio.

Ottawa County beach clean-up

To celebrate Earth Day and help remove litter from our area beaches, the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District, Alliance for the Great Lakes, Camp Perry, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Friends of Magee Marsh, City of Port Clinton, East Harbor State Park, Catawba Island State Park, and Ottawa Sandusky Seneca County Joint Solid Waste Management District are hosting a county-wide beach clean-up.
