The Chambers of Commerce Bright Stars for 2012 were recognized on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland.
Over 50 chambers of commerce across northern Ohio nominated a person from their chamber as their “Bright Star,” to recognize a chamber member who has “made a significant impact on the chamber through membership, retention, sponsorship, economic development, operations and/or education.” Each Bright Star is an active chamber member for no less than two years and is likely to be an unsung hero or a dedicated behind-the-scenes volunteer.
Judi Halstead with Integrity Productions is the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Bright Star 2012. Halstead accepted her certificate and trophy from Tony Gallo, NOACC Chairman and Director of Business Development for Lorain County Chamber, at the presentation.
“When you think Bright Star, the PC Chamber immediately thinks of Judi Halstead. She exemplifies integrity in all aspects of her life including her willingness to proactively promote membership, to support Chamber programs, and to give 110% by volunteering with every event and activity. Her positive attitude is contagious!” stated Laura Schlachter, President of the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.
