Marcus will be among 72 Ohio interscholastic golfers playing at the Scarlet Course at Ohio State this Friday and Saturday.
The Port Clinton Knights of Columbus Council 1750 will be holding a special Social on Tuesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. for all who worked their first Perch, Peach, Pierogi and Polka Festival helping to make it a huge success. The Knights want to say Thank You to all who contributed their time and talents to the effort. Anyone who helped in any way is invited to come and celebrate.
Allied Waste of Port Clinton is holding an Open House at the Landfill at 530 N. Camp Rd. (just south of State Route 2 off State Route 358 or just north of State Route 163). It takes place this Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is your chance to take a look at the highest point in Ottawa County and learn how Allied Waste manages your solid waste disposal needs in an environmentally conscience manner. There will be food and drinks and kite-flying for the kids.
There will be a Public Bingo at the Danbury Senior Center this Saturday, October 11 from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $6, and there will be 18 games, 10-cents per card per game. They will also have door prizes and free coffee and dessert.
