Pam Vogel joins Lakeside Realty

Pam Vogel has joined the full-time sales team at Lakeside Chautauqua Realty. Vogel and her husband Kevin have resided in the area for 11 years and previously enjoyed many seasons as weekend residents.Pam Vogel
Vogel has been a licensed Realtor since 1998 and has experience in both listing and sales. She also served as a real estate lending officer at several Northern Ohio banks for many years. Vogel enjoys community involvement and is a member and past president of both the Marblehead Lions Club and Port Clinton Area Business and Professional Women.

Drs. Bower, Hohman join NOMS

Jill’s Sweet Delites featured at Marblehead Bank

Jill’s Sweet Delites, located at 1002 Main St. in Marblehead, will be featured at The Marblehead Bank Branch on South Bridge Road. 
Jill bakes donuts, coffee cakes, cookies, pies and various other sweet confections daily. Her hand-me-down recipes for nut rolls, poppy seed rolls, ladylocks and nut horns are part of her specialty items available at Christmas and Easter.

ODA survey: Otterbein small houses among best in state

LEBANON, Ohio — A resident survey released March 4 by the Ohio Department of Aging gives high kudos to two of Otterbein Homes’ skilled nursing care and rehabilitation locations. Avalon by Otterbein at Atrium and the Jane Baker House at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community each placed in the top 25 of Ohio nursing homes in the ODA’s 2009 Long-term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey.
Rhonda Wolpert, executive director of Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community, said residents and partners at the Jane Baker House are very excited that the small house offering skilled nursing care and rehabilitation was ranked so high.

‘Outlook for Agriculture’

First National Bank of Bellevue sponsored the 2010 Policy and Outlook dinner meeting Feb. 25. The dinner meeting, which drew more than 70 interested farmers and agribusiness people, was held at the Bellevue Club Ameri-Ital located in Bellevue from 4 to 8:30 p.m. The program, “Outlook for Agriculture,” was presented by the Ohio State University Extension in conjunction with First National Bank. The event was open to the public by reservation and sponsored by First National Bank of Bellevue and The Ohio State University Huron, Erie and Sandusky County Extension.
