Immaculate Conception School fifth grade students of Jane Drusbacky were treated to a program about the Underground Railroad Quilt.

The students enjoyed learning how the secret signs in quilts helped slaves escape to freedom. The fifth graders were able to design their own paper quilt pieces. This program was presented at ICS by Rebecca Maenle, a member of the Ottawa County Extension office.
