With the anticipation of higher heating costs this upcoming winter and financial woes dominating the news, some local people are looking to help a little.  Launched in mid-October, a new video series is now available online, www.WatchTheseTips.com.  This video series demonstrates how you can make your home, office and appliances operate more efficiently.  

“Watch These Tips” are hosted by Paul and Claudia Jaskulski, owners of Firelands Mechanical.  Paul Jaskulski says, “There are so many easy things people can do that can reflect positively in their energy and repair bills”.  While on service calls and installing new heating and air conditioning equipment, he always recommends easy and helpful tips to their customers.  Often they have him address his suggestions while he is there.  Jaskulski wanted a way to relay beneficial tips to as many people as possible from his experiences in the heating and cooling industry since 1986.  “All they have to do is click and watch on the internet”, he says.

The videos are produced locally by Nick James Productions.  Currently there are four “Watch These Tips” webisodes available with more being produced.  “Our list of helpful tips keeps growing” says Claudia Jaskulki.  “We will even be producing tips that are not associated with heating and cooling”, she added.  They will also be using the knowledge of other local business owners and experts for future episodes.  “The possibilities are very exciting.”
