Ian Miller wins 145-lb. championship
The proud tradition of Oak Harbor wrestling will be posting another state champion on the wall of the wrestling room at OHHS. Ian Miller almost made it look easy last Saturday night on the way to a 19-4 technical fall over Dylan Ice of Lisbon Beaver. It was the championship match of the 145 lb. class of the Ohio Division II state finals. Miller finished the season with an astounding 41-1 record. The Rockets finished second in the team standings behind St. Paris Graham, commonly acknowledged as the best high school wrestling program in the land. They managed to get four wrestlers on the podium on Saturday night.
