Annarose Marie Larson, 66, of Port Clinton, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.  She was born March 3, 1942 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Ralph and Genevieve (Bumb) Darr.
    
Annarose was retired from the Port Clinton City Schools.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Ottawa County Retired Teachers.  She was an amazing person. She was a bridge player, a Cub fan, a dog lover, and most importantly a devoted grandmother, mother and a dear friend. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her husband Dennis whom she married on November 19, 1966; son Doug (Mary) Larson of Goodyear, AZ; grandchildren Erin and David; sisters Elizabeth (Ron) Rodenhauser of Fremont and Marcele (Dennis) Herringshaw of Slidell, LA; brothers Bernard Darr and Dennis (Nadine) Darr, both of Oak Harbor.

Her son John, her parents and a brother James Darr preceded her in death.

Visitation was held October 5 at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton.  Prayer services were held October 6 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Immaculate Conception Church.  The Rev. John C. Missler officiated.  Burial followed in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.neideckerleveckcrosser.com.
