Santa visited Edgewood Manor on Wednesday afternoon. He arrived to a packed house waiting for him to bring the Christmas spirit.
The residents gathered in attendance to open the many gifts Santa brought with him. They received a wide variety of gifts from sweaters to pants to jewelry to gift cards and everything in between. Activity Director Carolyn Legg, who coordinates all of the holiday festivities at Edgewood Manor said, “The entire staff tries very hard to make the holiday season as happy & wonderful as they can for each resident. We are also extremely grateful to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for their generosity. Each year the congregation adopts our residents and provide wonderful gifts for them.”
After Santa finished passing out gifts, he was able to stay and pose for pictures with the residents and enjoyed an hour of fun and cookies with Ragtime Rick playing the piano.
