ABLE offers free adult education classes in Oak Harbor

Ottawa County Adult Basic and Literary Education (ABLE) is offering free classes to help adults who need to improve their basic educational skills to enter employment, to enroll in post secondary education or to earn a GED diploma.

The classes are held at the Ottawa County Resource Center in Oak Harbor on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon-2 p.m.  and 6-8 p.m. The instructor is Sandy Braunworth.

The GED test will be changing dramatically in 2014, changing from being a paper and pencil test to a computer-based test, tripling the cost.

To register for the classes, contact The Job Store at 419-898-3688.
