A Scavenger Hunt is planned for Saturday, April 6, from noon until 4:00pm in downtown historic Port Clinton. Families and friends are encouraged to create a team and participate in
this family-friendly event. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place. All competing teams who complete the Scavenger Hunt will be entered in to win Chamber gift certificates.
The cost to enter is $20 per team. Teams can be made up of up to four people. Each team should bring a camera/camera-phone for use during the Scavenger Hunt. Teams should arrive at the Main Street office located at 110 Madison Street at 11:30 a.m. to register. Everyone will be given the list at noon to start the hunt. The first three teams to complete the list and show their pictures to a Main Street volunteer will win a gift basket.
Main Street Port Clinton has also planned a kick-off to the spring season with a Downtown Poker Run and Pub Craw. Cash prizes will be given for the best and worst hands.
Registration is from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Main Street Port Clinton office located at 110 Madison Street. The cost to participate is $10 per person. Each participant must purchase a drink (can be non-alcoholic) at each of the participating pubs in exchange for a playing card.
