The flamingos from Firelands Presbyterian Church have flown on sabbatical. This year the Celebration of Life team plans to drop Wild and Wacky Walleye in the yards of unsuspecting friends and family members.  Their mission to support the American Cancer Society is called “Walleye Wishes for the Cure.”

Last year their frisky flamingos raised over $1400 for this worthy organization. This year their hand crafted and hand painted walleye hope to do even better.

To arrange for a Walleye Surprise, call Kay McIntosh (440-725-1546) or the Firelands Presbyterian Church office (419-734-6211). Suggested donations to the American Cancer Society: Initial Walleye drop, $20; Walleye removal, $15; or Walleye removed and sent on to another home,$25. This campaign will run during the months of June and July.
