The top Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps individual and team air rifle shooters from 16 states as well as Germany and Guam will gather this weekend, Feb. 9-11, for the 2012 Army JROTC Service Championships.
The actual shooting competition will be on Feb. 10 and 11, at the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s Marksmanship Center North, Camp Perry. The competitions will be three-position air rifle events fired at a distance of 10 meters.
The Army JROTC individuals and teams that qualified for this championship won qualifying matches up through brigade level. The top teams and individuals from the Army Service Championships will represent Army JROTC at the all-service JROTC national Championships in Anniston March 22-24.
