The residents and staff at Edgewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation had a grand time celebrating National Nursing Home Week. Events centered around the theme of “Movies of Your Life”.
One of the week’s highlights was Artist Jim Andrews. Andrews graced Edgewood with his creative genius and turned a blank canvas into a beautiful work of art. With a spotlight focusing on his artistic prowess and music playing in the background, Andrews used different colored chalks to design a western landscape from a white void. “That was absolutely wonderful,” said Edna Mackey, an Edgewood resident. “He has God-given talent!” It truly was an aesthetically pleasing educational experience that fed the souls of all who watched.
