Fort Firelands RV Resort, located on RT 163 at RT 269 in Marblehead, is gearing up for its 7th annual “Rockin’ the Fort” Classic Car and Truck Show Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. “This is a new date for our show,” said Jeff Barton, one of Fort Firelands’ owners. He added, “We are happy to have Cruisin Zeake as DJ this year.” There is a $5 pre-entry fee, $7 entry fee day of show. There will be goodie bags for the first 50 entries along with gas card drawings for registered participants.
Jeff’s wife Terri added, “You’ll want to come out to see some fabulous cars, browse the flea market and various shops, or just listen to the great oldies music.” There will be a 50/50 drawing as well as raffle items donated by local businesses. Port-N-Starboard Restaurant is offering a hamburger and hot dog special for this event.
