Dziak painting juried into National Show



Local artist Rick Dziak had his painting “Sunkissed” juried into the Oil Painters of America first annual Salon Show of Traditional Oils, hosted by Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petosky, MI. Over 350 paintings from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, representing the best of oil painting in the world, will be on display. Crooked Tree Art Center (CTAC) has been transformed into a salon-style exhibition space for this prestigious event.

This world-class exhibition and art event kicked off with a full weekend of activities June 20-23. The show will run through August 31st, and is open to the public.

Rick and his wife Mary own and operate Dziak Gallery at 810 W. Main St. in Marblehead. The Gallery is always open by appointment, and will start their summer hours on Wednesday, June 26. Hours will be 1-4 p.m.Wednesday-Sunday, closed on Monday and Tuesday. Dziak is just one of two Ohio painters who holds signature status with Oil Painters of America. The organization has over 4000 members, and less than 200 have been awarded signature status.
