Victorian Inn, Rosie’s and 1812 Food and Spirits hold benefits for CASA

The Victorian Inn Bed and Breakfast, at 5622 East Harbor Road, Marblehead, is putting on a Yard Sale to benefit CASA. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA volunteers help support abused and neglected children who greatly need a safe and trusting friend during these difficult processes. The volunteers are specially trained, which is not an easy or free process for CASA, therefore help is always needed in order to help the children. The volunteers become acquainted with everyone surrounding the child so they can be the voice of the child in the court room.

The Yard Sale will be on Sept. 27 and 28, 9-5 p.m., and Sept. 29, 9 a.m. to noon. All the proceeds will go to CASA. To make donations to the yard sale, contact The Victorian Inn at 419.734.5611 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Also on Sept. 28, Rosie's and 1812 Food and Spirits in Port Clinton will be donating 1% of all food sales to sponsor CASA's Ottawa  County Dancing with the Stars event on Nov. 23. One of the stars who will be dancing is Ann Duez, owner of Victorian Inn.
