“Reflecting On Our Many Gifts” is the theme of the 2014 Women’s Retreat at Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Port Clinton on Friday, Jan. 10th from 5:45-9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 11th from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Co-chairmen Beth Akins and Mary Jane Gibson have planned a variety of activities for all ages to share, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
This unique focus on our many gifts is different from others. Recognizing our behavioral gifts, utilizing our compassionate gifts, exploring our creative gifts, enhancing our communicative gifts, honoring our God-given gifts, and enjoying a gift of music are all included. There will be delicious food, fun, fellowship, and meaningful speakers/presenters. Break-out session choices, honored on a first-served basis, will include: making greeting cards, using scrapbooking techniques, decorating a dried gourd using the zentangle technique, painting a water color picture, creating angel earrings, making candies, and folding an origami box.
Please call Mary Lou Hershner at 419-732-3443 or Esther Brandenburg at 419-797-2699 with questions. Registration of $29 can be sent payable to Trinity Women at 135 Adam St., Port Clinton, OH 43452 by Jan. 6. Friday evening only is $12.50 and Saturday only is $16.50.
