GPCAAC holds third Art Walk of the season Featured

On Thursday, July 24, the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council held its third Art Walk of the season. Art Walks are held the fourth Thursday of the month from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Port Clinton. The theme of this Art Walk was Ecogreen Sculptures.

In addition to the Art Walk, Lake Erie Adventure Play (LEAP) held a pop-up playground in front of Ida Rupp Library. Kids created adventures out of cardboard, fabric and other recycled material using their imaginations. There was also music and a farmer’s market.

Art Walk was created last year by GPCAAC, Historic Downtown Port Clinton, art galleries and venues as a means of promoting both art and downtown businesses. Artists who wish to participate in upcoming Art Walks and downtown businesses who would like artists or musicians inside or in front of their venues should contact either Jen Nickel, 419-341-0804 This email address is being protected from spambots.
