The Salvation Army’s Port Clinton Service Unit’s Christmas in July Red Kettle Campaign raised $4085.70 between July 25-27. In addition to the bell ringer collections, Catawba Moorings (Dockers with Donations) collected two heaping shopping carts full of non-perishable food items.
“The Port Clinton Service Unit is proud to serve our local community and appreciates the generous response by our residents and weekend locals with providing assistance to the community,” said Port Clinton Salvation Army Director Maureen Saponari. “We would also like to give a big thank you to the Jet Express for donating round trip tickets to our volunteers ringing at Put-in-Bay.”
