The mine remediation project for State Route 2 will resume Sept. 8. The project, which is projected to go through May 2015, is taking place between SR 163 and SR 53 on SR 2. This area will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Through May 2015, the ramp from southbound SR 53 to westbound SR 2 will be closed. The project is to be complete by May 2016.
A new resurfacing and bridge repair project is starting Sept. 3 on SR 2. The project will last through November and effects SR 2 between West Camp Perry Western Road and North Camp Perry Eastern Road. This area will be reduced to one lane and lane widths will be reduced to 10’ within the work zone.
Throughout August SR 19 between US 20 and SR 105 will have intermittent lane restrictions due to a resurfacing project. The traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is projected to be complete at the end of August.
From 7 a.m.-3 p.m. through August on weekdays only SR 590 between SR 2 and West Trowbridge Road will be occupied for drainage work. The suggested detour routes are SR 2, SR 19 and SR 163.
All work and projected dates are weather permitting.
