County Fair kicks off Monday
The Ottawa County Fair kicks off Monday at the fairgrounds and runs through Sunday, July 22. Below are some of the highlights:
Monday
• 7:30 p.m. — Grande Parade
• 8:30 p.m. — King and Queen Contest
Tuesday
• 8-10 p.m. — Jessica Kenney Band
• 8 p.m. — Wagon Wheel IPRA Rodeo
Wednesday — Senior Day
• Seniors events planned throughout the day including live entertainment. wagon tours, cornhole and an ice cream social
• 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. — Crimson Lights
• 7 p.m. — Cheerleading Contest
Thursday — Money Day
• 5:30 & 9 p.m. — Journey Tribute Band
• 6:30 p.m. — Smash-It Demo Derby
Friday
• 7 p.m. — Open Pickup and Semi Pull
• 7:30 to 9 p.m. — Connor Rose & Main Street Band
Saturday — Veterans’ Day
• 7 p.m. — Lucas Oil PPL & OSTPA Truck & Tractor Pull
• 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. — Square Dance with Legacy II
Sunday
• 6:30 p.m. Ohio Idol
