Joyful Connections has announced the winners of its recent coloring contest. The contest was open to local children through grade five. Eight elementary schools throughout Ottawa County participated and more than 350 entries were submitted. The coloring contest was held in recognition of Supervised Visitation Awareness Month.
Prizes were awarded in three age categories. There was an amazing amount of talent presented in the entries. The first-place winner named for the preschool division was Katelynne, age 5. Andrew, 8, took first place for the kindergarten through second grade division. First place for the third through fifth grade division was Sierra, age 10. Each winner received a prize of outdoor toys or games.
Joyful Connections is a supervised visitation and exchange center located in Oak Harbor and serving Ottawa and the surrounding counties.
