Ottawa County Shooting Stars 4-H club offers rifle and pistol lessons

The Ottawa County Shooting Stars 4-H shooting sports club offers learning, safety and basic skills in rifle and pistol. The 4-H Club objectives are safety first, fun, recreation, build confidence, competency and competition. They provide learning situations for the development of leadership and responsibility, and educational and challenging experiences that will enable young people to become knowledgeable and skilled in their selected project areas. Soon their archery and living history disciplines will be available.

4-H Endowment Dinner/Auction

It’s time for the 20th Annual Ottawa County 4-H Endowment Dinner/Auction scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m. at the Camp Perry Club House. The buffet meal will feature baked ham and chicken plus all the fixin’s for a great meal catered by Ole Zims for only $15.  Doors open at 5 p.m. with a Silent Auction of items donated by many Ottawa County 4-H Clubs and area businesses i.e. themed baskets, baked goods and other interesting sundries. Our Grand Auction will feature many unique items including five nights in a condo in Kissimmee, Florida, 2014 OSU Football tickets, many OSU items, nighttime game package, Lakeside Cottage rental, and much more.
